Excellent as live mics, percussion mics and guitar cabinet mics, thanks to their rugged construction and general indestructibility. Less sensitive than condenser mics so need to be close to sound source for best results. The polar pattern tells you which directions the mic picks up sound from. Cardioid mics pick up sound from the front, but reject sound coming from the back of the microphone. Omni microphones pick up sound equally-loudly from all directions.

Heart-shaped pattern that is most sensitive at the front and sides, whilst rejecting sound from the back of the microphone. A highly directional pattern that is great for live use as it's resistant to feedback and isolates from unwanted ambient sound. How do I use instant finance?

Thanks, but he doesn't have the original receipt because he tossed the box along with the paper work. The only receipt he has is from my paypal account which a transaction receipt I'm assuming that good enough hope so because he's already registered and will send them a email Monday.

I had a D6 that I bought used, cash sale, no paperwork. I inquired about a problem that I thought might be related to the defect described. They immediately gave me an RA number and upgraded the mike to the new specs, no questions asked.

Cost me the shipping to Audix only. They are a great company that stands behind their product. I would guess you would have no problem with their customer service.

I'd give them a call. Original receipt or not, original owner or not, most Pro Audio companies stand behind their products. Audix service is great. They've replaced capsules and even broken D-Vice mounts for me, so no complaints here. Just call them and see what they say, they'll maybe just want a copy of the receipt when you send the mic in, no big deal.

You could probably even just email it to them. Halfway in the port is pretty much the only way I like the way it sounds, so that's the way I use it. Never been a problem.
