What happens if garrus goes into quarantine

Now go through the next door in the room the Element Zero was in to find another apartment, which currently has two looters in it so no goodies for you. Here, you can answer "Who are you"? Then reply "I want you to stop" to get the following options:. Exit back out to the main area and look for a glowing red line on the ground.

This will actually lead you around the corner and to the door that takes you to the Med Clinic! As you approach the clinic's front door, take heed of the Clinic Guard's warning when talking to him: If you try any funny business here, you'll have to deal with him an army of mechs.

Luckily, Shepard and their squad will put away their guns when entering. Now return to reception and head down the nearby hallway. Mordin is pattering away in the room on the right, but first explore the room on the left. Now talk to Mordin, who is a very fast-talking character and a challenge to keep up with we won't blame you for putting on subtitles. Right after the power cuts out.

Mordin urges you to go, but also gives you a Side Quest: to find his missing assistant Daniel. Despite the Dialogue Wheel showing up, you don't get any Morality Points for whatever you reply with. Lastly, if you healed the sick Batarian early into the level, you can say "I met a sick batarian" to send help out for him, netting you 40XP.

Now it's time to leave the clinic, and head towards the Environmental Control Center. This is where we'll get to use the good doctor's cure, in an attempt to heal all injured and sickly parties. Seek out the previously-locked door in the clinic near the Medical Station -- it will now be open. Head up the stairs on the other side of the door, and immediately swing leftward. Hide behind the first piece of cover you find, and initiate hostilities on the Vorcha standing around: they should be completely oblivious to your presence until you open fire unless you get too close.

A plethora of Vorcha, and some Krogan will assail your position, so pick them off as they draw near. Your party members should maneuver to areas that will serve them best, so worry only about yourself.

Stay protected, revealing yourself to return fire on various foes as the opportunities reveal themselves. At the top edge of the room, begin working leftward towards long, thin staircase leading upward. More enemies will occupy that staircase, as well as the area around it, so stay alert!

Once all the enemies are down, explore the area for goodies, all of which are around the thin staircase. Continue into the next hallway and you'll see two doors: a close one to the left, and a locked one on the right. Enter the left-hand door and you'll discover Mordin's assistant Daniel has been captured by Batarians, who think that he's dispersing the plague itself rather than the cure for it. This is a delicate situation, which you can resolve in the following ways:.

If Daniel dies, you can Examine his body for some comments from your Squad Mates. If he lived, you can talk to him for one more parting comment. Now return to the main hallway and head through the other door. Instead of going through the next door, take cover on the right: there are a few enemies to deal with here, all located on the far side of the room.

Take them out before opening the door to reach the staircase, as you have plenty of cover to work with. Once the enemies have been slain and the door has been open, dash down the stairs and toggle over to your sniper rifle, if you have one.

As soon as you turn leftward through an open door, you'll see an enemy off in the distance on a balcony. This foe, with some friends, is shooting rockets from the safety of that location, and the only realistic way to deal with him is to use your sniper rifle to its fullest capacity. Rush forward and to the right a bit to get as close to him and his friends as possible so you can take them out.

You'll want to deal with them as fast as possible, because down below will be more enemies coming in through the ground floor. The balcony here is a very safe spot, so you'll have plenty of time to take out the Vorcha at your leisure before taking one of the stairs down and mopping up the rest. Surprisingly, while there's ammunition lying around for you post-battle, there are no items for you to gather otherwise. When you're ready, press through the door that the Vorcha earlier poured out of; it has no green holo-button, instead it opens automatically when you get close.

On the other side of the second door, you'll meet up with a few more Vorcha and Krogan. Take cover behind the door you came through when the enemies reveal themselves, as you'll be fighting in close quarters here, and can be easily felled if you aren't careful. Return to the central corridor, then head leftward and forward towards a series of uphill staircases. A Squad mate will comment that you're almost to the Environmental Control Center. When you arrive in the Environmental Control Center, you'll find the Vorcha.

These guys aren't too smart: they quickly let loose that they are, in fact, working for the Collectors. Here, you can answer "Why are you doing this? The initial conflict you're faced with is quick to overcome: take cover and return fire on the few enemies that are guarding the main control panel. It's that control panel at the far end that will be used to insert the cure into the air supply throughout the Quarantine Zone, though placing the vial in the machine isn't even remotely all we have to do here.

Once you've killed the few enemies guarding the machine, dash up to it to place the cure within. That's step one. Unfortunately, there are two more steps to tend to before we're out of dodge. Double unfortunately, there are far more enemies in the area who'll make themselves seen as soon as you place the cure to the disease within the central machine. For those familiar with The Lord of the Rings, it always felt as if Urdnot Wrex and Garrus Vakarian were meant to be the sci-fi alien take on the relationship between Gimli and Legolas from J.

Tolkien's beloved fantasy world. The two Mass Effect companions often shared funny lines back and forth, with a notable one coming in Mass Effect 3. After Garrus finally sees Wrex for the first time in ages he'll tell him, "Figured you'd gone soft sitting on your throne, forgot how to hold a gun. During a conversation with Gavin Hassle on Feros, there's a line that whatever companion is with Shepard will utter.

This isn't character-specific and happens as a response to Gavin asking Shepard and his crew to recover data that's lost in a very dangerous area. If Garrus is with Shepard at this moment he'll be the one that replies, "Why do people always assume we enjoy putting ourselves in harm's way?

When Garrus is recruited in Mass Effect 2 , he'll have a clever line in regards to his facial scar, which is different depending on if Shepard is a male or a female.

If Shepard is a female Garrus will confidently suggest, "Some women find facial scars attractive. Mind you, most of those women are Krogan", in a self-deprecating manner. On the other hand, if Shepard is male he'll joke about easing the competition exclaiming, "Ah probably for the best. Notify me of new comments via email.
